Brandon Pease

About

At the age of 9 Brandon found his father’s red sunburst acoustic guitar in the attic.  He was immediately drawn to the instrument.  With tales of his father playing as a boy, the instrument seemed almost mythical to Brandon.  After nightly practice that only amounted to experimental sounds, his parents decided to sign him up for lessons.  Quickly he gravitated toward rock and metal music and eventually he got his first electric guitar.

Naturally he began to meet other people his age who played instruments and eventually they created a band that would practice every Friday night.  Playing mostly rock covers, they began to write music inspired by their favorite artists like Shinedown, Disturbed, and Breaking Benjamin.  Eventually they put together a set and played at a few block parties for friends and relatives.

As he finished up high school he knew that he wanted to take his musical skills to the next level and decided to study music at the university level.  Brandon attended the esteemed Stetson University and obtained a Bachelor of Music in classical guitar.  There he studied under Dr. Stephen Robinson, Dr. Adam Kossler, and Dr. Sam Desmet.  He also studied with Dr. Todd Holcomb outside of school.  He played in masterclasses for Irina Aleksandrova, the Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo, and Manuel Barrueco.

While in University, he could not let his love for the electric guitar and rock n’ roll fade.  He began to play in another band that he formed with a friend and together they released a single, an EP, and began playing gigs regularly.
